• Italian Sausage on Fresh Rolls - seared on grill and added to a pan of sauteed onions, pinot noir, garlic powder, abita strawberry harvest ale
• Trey's HOT Wings
• Pork Chop/Pork Steak sandwiches with onions and coleslaw - grilled and sauteed in BBQ sauce and white sauce
• Grilled Chicken Parts - Wings, Legs and Drum sticks - chipotle seasoning and franks red hot sauce, oil, beer and water
• Tri Tip dry rub steaks
• 3 slabs of pork ribs
• 2 fatties rolled with cheddar, peppers, onions
• Chicken thighs in pink sauce

Dicks Pink Sauce Recipe:

• 32 oz Mayonaise
• 32 oz Apple Cider Vinegar
• 12 oz Horse Radish
• 1/4 cup Black Pepper
• 2/3 cup Dry Rub

There were some non-meat side (the green bean casserole was delicious) but hey, who remembers that stuff?!

The Gathering. "What means this?" you ask. No - it's not a pagan ritual or some Highlander derivative. No obscure symbols drawn in a circle or use of broad swords. It's the 3 annual gathering on MIMBSMF eve (Memphis In May Beale Street Music Festival.) It could also be for the gathering storm as the first weekend in May seems to be when the heavens open up and turn Tom Lee Park into a mudpit. It's all good.

Things got a little raucus with Alan and Cary joining us in the beer studio. This is a fun and entertaining show!

This show was recorded after a very long day exploring Boulder, a day that started off poorly (travel and work woes) but got progressively better after a stop at Southern Sun to sample their offerings for Stout Month, followed by an homage to Avery Brewing. Then our designated driver took us for a quick drive out to Longmont for dinner at Oskar Blues Liquids and Solids.

Our post Memphis in May Beale Street Music Festival show. We talk about the acts we saw during 3 rain drenched days "down by the river" at Tom Lee Park. Some of the acts we saw - Steve Miller Band, Bonnie Raitt, James Taylor, Snoop Dogg, Elvis Costello, Shine Down along with some great blues acts - Tommy Castro, Guitar Shorty, John Mayall and the Blues Breakers, Richard Johnston and many others.

We also fire up the BBQ and have a meat fest - Thick Pork Chop sandwiches, Kielbasa and cheese plates, Chicken in white barbecue sauce and lots of slabs of ribs.
