Flying Dog is awesome beer. I love many of their beers, especially their Gonzo Porter and K-9 winter ale. Loved the interview with Jim Ficksari from Croq (did I spell that right?). Loved the beer pairings - they sounded excellent.
Hop prices are really ridiculous. I've been paying $5 for 2 ounce packages from my mail order place, which is still not that bad, but the real problem is availability of the variety you want. You may not be able to get exactly what you want, so you have to take what you can get in most cases. Grain, on the other hand, is still fairly manageable. I picked up a 55-pound bag of 2-row Canadian pale for $45. Who knows how long that will last.
Mike, way to pimp the show dude. Those guys actually plugged your show on the air - love that.
Great to hear you guys again. Great music this time around too.
