Show 117 - Chicken and Beer
Yum. Although no chickens were harmed in the production of this show, we did kill a few quality beers as well as do permanent liver damage. Join us as we get a live-from-the-field report from Rick about Great Taste of the Midwest and several other events. We also do a Rufus Thomas (Mister Funky Chicken) retrospective of sorts, catch up on the latest Memphis celebrity news, throw in a dash of Armenian vengeance, and have some awesome beverages! WOOOO! Chicken and beer, chicken and beer. I'm gonna get me some chicken and beer.
OK, so that was a definite podcasting first. Rick in a brewery ordering beers ON THE SHOW via Skype. I've heard of remotes before, but you guys are taking this to new levels. I can't tell you how funny I found that whole exchange - especially the commentary by Mike and Dick. 😀 Pubcasting - it's the next big thing.
And hey - I wouldn't mind reading that screenplay that Rick's writing - «My Life as a Boozie». That sounds like a hella good film. 😀
How awesome was it to hear that the guy who's running Memphis Beer & Wine listens to my show. That was so great. It just made my damned week - and believe me, there's a TON happening. That was such a great story. Thanks for including me in that project, Dick. That was so much fun. I hope it drives a lot of traffic.

Great show... I think I am going to start doing my interviews like Rick... Since I dont have a good highspeed connection... Just call me at a bar!
I think the newest contest should be who can talk the most about Phil on a show... I might do 2 segments on how great he is!
Good to see 2 Brothers getting some love. Underated Brewery for sure!
