Show 48 - Stone Anniversary Beer Show
We are getting Stoned on this show (cheap attempt at humor there) with some fantastic beer from Stone Breweries courtesy of the recent visit to their anniversary celebration by Rick. We have a lot of interviews from this celebration along with our podcast buddies from the Beer Report and Dude Night. Add in some music from longtime blues artist Robin Trower (yes, that same Robin Trower) and you have a great show.

Very nice job, guys. Loved Rick's audio of the Stone event. Awesome Q&A's with the guys from Stone.
Oh, and THANK YOU for your compliments on my Belgian Dubbel. Sorry I didn't label the beers properly. DT stands for «Dubbel Trouble». It's my first attempt at a Belgian Dubbel. You can read more about the beer on my web site at http://www.clarkeheadbrew.com.
As fun as it was to hear your audio from the event, Dick's commentary made it even funnier. The whole «cat piss» thing is regrettable. I didn't taste anything close to that the entire event.
It was great having Rick out here. If you guys find yourselves out this way again, let's hook up.

Re: Alpine and «cat piss». OK, I need to come to their defense and let the folks know that Alpine is one of the BEST breweries in all of California. They make a few beers that are out of this world - Pure Hoppiness, Exponential Hopiness among them. I have had at least 10 growlers of these beers and they truly make awesome and worthy beers. I know there was some confusion whether or not cat piss was a good thing, but please know Alpine is great.
