Show #6 - The Brewpub Show

Pork LoinWe visit a local Memphis brewpub, Boscos (http://www.boscosbeer.com) and discuss the types of beer found therein. We also cook a pork loin, one of the easiest meats to cook, as long as you don't cook too long. Musical guests from music.download.com are Jimmy Lane and Double Trouble, Katie Webster, and the Danny Cowan Group.

Pictures and comments on cooking are up! Take a look at the Smoked Pork Loin with 5 Fingers Barbecue Sauce we've cooked up here.

Beers sampled this show...

  • Boscos River Rail Red
  • Boscos Kung Fu Ale
  • Boscos Bottle Conditioned IPA

I was delighted to find this podcast! I recently moved to Cordova, TN and have noticed a lack of places to enjoy a good brew in this area. Any chance you guys know of a place around Cordova that isn't the corporate cookie-cutter bar and grill? I can't wait until I can make it to Bosco's later this week for a sampling of their wares. Keep up the good work!

Love your show. I live in Cincinnati which has a rich brewery history. My husband is a beer enthusiast and I've discovered some great new music thanks to your show. Don't get rid of the music. Thanks for the great podcasts!

Chris - Thanks for listening! In town, there isn't a lot of choice for beer. The Flying Saucer in downtown memphis has a LOT of beers. Look at http://www.beerknurd.com for the list. Lots of beers on tap and bottles. Boscos is the best (only) for brewpub. We're in the bible belt after all...

Linda - Thanks! Glad you like us. We've got several more coming, just a lot of travel lately. Ohio definitely is on my list to get to.
