Show 33 - Belgian Beers Too

Orval WindowWe are back with the Belgian beers! We dive into some Belgian beer action with a fine selection from Westmalle, St. Rochefort and Orval abbeys, as well as some other abbey-style beers. The show snacks this week are an easy to make dish of Barbecue Nachos, a local favorite. Music comes to us from the WDIA CD. It is always a religious experience when you mix monks and beers, so join us for the indulgence.

Beers we sampled during this show...

Sing the praises of the mp3 here.

I love the Belgians! Never heard anyone badmouth a belgian beer like you did with those Rochefort beers. Were they skunked perhaps?

Mat, I didn't think the 8 was bad. It did leave an aftertaste that hung around for some time afterward. Dick on the other hand had a bad tasting. It might have had something to do with the food or the other beers not combining well.

Ok, I tried to listen to that show that pays homage to you all... «ITBT»... First off, I cant play it in my MP3 player... So, I cant give it any rating at this time! Good luck with your «Reaching out» to them.

Another great show... Those nachos sound GREAT!

Good show! Heard about you via TBR and have caught a few shows. I've been a fan of Fat Tire for a while. Thought I was the only TN boy that liked or even knew what it was.

Good to have some more TBR fans joining us. Hopefully we're sending some traffic their way also.

Jakob, I couldn't figure out how to move the comment over here. Guess folks will just have to go to show 36 to read the post. Thanks for the comments and the info regarding the red light district. Nice to see a «.dk» Denmark email address!
