Show 37 - Festival Beer Show
We relive the magic of the Memphis In May Musicfest and our beer-powered adventures. Lots of great music, beer and barbecue packed into a three day festival that saw us visiting the legends of rock and blues, eating our way through every form of barbecue, and Rick finds Jesus. Christy joins us in reliving the moments as well. In addition, we clean out our refrigerator again and have a mini-festival of beers while we reminisce. It was a great time and you can enjoy it with us.

We are back with the Belgian beers! We dive into some Belgian beer action with a fine selection from Westmalle, St. Rochefort and Orval abbeys, as well as some other abbey-style beers. The show snacks this week are an easy to make dish of Barbecue Nachos, a local favorite. Music comes to us from the WDIA CD. It is always a religious experience when you mix monks and beers, so join us for the indulgence.
We take a trip down the Bock beer avenue and experience the rich malty goodness. Susan and Trey join us to help offset the liver damage caused by this high alcohol beer. Great music from Memphis legends, pillow fights and Smoked Shrimp - enjoy!
Its the show we have been waiting for! Jamie and Susan join us to give a feminine perspective to beers and women who drink them. And get quite a buzz in the process. We work our way though a lot of beers from New Glarus, Sierra Nevada, Pyramid, Youngs, Spaten and a few homebrews. Musical guests include James Cotton and Lavelle White. One of our better shows, so enjoy!
In this action-packed episode of Big Foamy Head, we find our heroes getting small. No, not what you're thinking - we're exploring little known beers that you find around the country. Kenny hooked us up with beer from the Northwest. You can get more info on these beers at the links below. Also, our podcast friends sent us music from the Damon Fowler group - great blues at a low, low price. Throw in some beer news about Buddhist Monks and the women who love them and you've got a show. Prost!
